				This rack design, slots through the spare wheel, bolting securely to the wheel fixture on the rear door, allowing rear door access. Different mounting plates are available (see chart below), fits most makes and models.

			Normally if carrying your bikes regularly you would leave this rack in situ. with the arms removed when not in use. Fasten the bikes to the rack with the straps provided and you’re away. One obvious advantage of this rack is that it does not interfere with the rear wiper, which is a common annoyance with strap-on spare tyre racks. (Provided that you have complete control of the rear wiper, ie: it does not come on automatically in reverse gear when front wipers are activated, then this is not normally a reason not to buy a strap-on if your budget is tighter)
